a drawing room type setting, the panel was seated on the sofas
and chairs, i was made to sit in center of the room... one guy kept
on flipping my papers through out.
5) KIND OF QUESTIONS ASKED : General questions why you want
to do mba after b.e., who is your idol & why... a bit technical stuff,
about my job profile,
about my parents.
6) DURATION OF THE INTERVIEW : 20 minutes

Why dont we use cobol for web page designing why asp and xml

INTERVIEW : Dont try to give fundas, you can easily guide the path
of the interview

1) GD WAS FOR : UBS Chandigarh

freshers half with work ex. 5 engineers
6) GD TOPIC : A 2 page case study about a gilr inhereting faimly
business and facing various problems.
7) BRIEF DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE GD : The person who took
the opertunity of starting the gd just did so for taking the iniciative
although he dint have any strong points to put up, people were
repeating same stuff in different ways which made the panel
conclude the gd abdruptly, a person dint speak a word was
asked by the panel to express his views.
8) DURATION OF THE GD : 5 min for reading the case study and
20 min for discussion
9) HOW WAS YOUR PERFORMANCE : Good
10) AREAS WHERE YOU COULD HAVE PERFORMED BETTER :
Could have timed the session and concluded it

Dont speak just for the sake of it try adding something important
and worthy enough so others listen to u...

I had my GD/PI at UBS in General category.
The process started off with verification of certificates and a 5
minute orientation about UBS.
There were 18 of us (all guys) in that group and all 18
participated in the GD together. Case study was about a factory
wherein there problem between old workers and new workers,easy
stuff,
but then it wasn't much of a fish market thought people with loud
voices dominated.
I was the first guy to be intervied....went ok.. some questions
were:
1) History of paonta Sahib (the place i live..it has religious
significance)
2) 5 religious places in himachal pradesh
3) What has SUkhram (former telecom minister in central govt.)
done for hp?
4) What has the current cm done for hp?
5)Fav subjects in engg.( mine is computers)
6) What is hot in networking industry?
7) What makes a site secure?
8) Do you believe in god?
Thats all I can remember, went out ok. lets see...
