Solution 2. Let the full marks in each subject be 100.
So total marks will be =500
So the Total marks attained will be 70*5=350 and marks attained in each subject will be 56, 42, 70,84, 98 out
of 100 in each subject. These can be said to in % as the marks are out of 100.
( As 4+3+5+6+7= 25)
(4*350/25 = 56, 3*350/25= 42, 5*350/25=70 etc)
So more than 75 were attained in 2 subject.

Solution 11. Percentage of candidates who failed in atleast one subject = 15 + 12 –4 = 23%
percentage of students passed in both subjects = 100 %-23%= 77 %
if 77 % of students = 1848
